On line searches for macro + photography and the like will show a huge number of discussions and tutorials about how to approach this area. If nothing is done I will sell at rebate this useless macro lens. Its a focus limiting switch, in one position itll auto focus from the min focusing distance to infinity and in the limited focusing position itll focus from 0.48m to infinity. Also if you focus on the stigma of a flower it will be out of focus with the RF lenses but perfect with the EF. Taking a photo of an insect that is moving on a flower is much easier done with autofocus than with manual focus. I would recommend a Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2X Ultra macro that has a much sharper image! The EF lenses is a much superior lenses for macro using autofocus. The lens is stabilized to 5 stops alone and 8 stops with a coordinated body like the EOS R5.
